Paytm Payments Bank signs up as acquiring partner for e-RUPI service

<p>Paytm Payments Bank announced that it had joined the government&#39;s e-RUPI vouchers initiative as an official acquiring partner. The bank has teamed up with One97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, to make use of the latter&#39;s merchant base. Paytm retailers will be allowed to accept payments via e-RUPI as a result of this. e-RUPI is a cashless prepaid voucher that users can present through SMS or QR Code.
