Paytm Payments Bank yet to appoint IT auditing firm: MoS finance to Lok Sabha

<p>Minister of state for finance Bhagwat Karad told the Lok Sabha that Paytm Payments Bank has yet to appoint a firm to perform an audit of its IT infrastructure. Due to possible weaknesses in its technology infrastructure, the RBI stopped Paytm Payments Bank from accepting new customers on March 11. After the regulator restricted the onboarding of new clients, the central bank will set the terms of reference for an independent technology audit of Paytm Payments Bank.</p>
