PhonePe controls nearly half of all transactions on BBPS

<p>The industry leader in UPI Payments, PhonePe has cornered nearly half of all consumer transactions on the Bharat Bill Payment System channel in August. The company processed 28M transactions, worth up to ₹4039 cr during the month, shows data released by National Payments Corp of India. PayTm, HDFC Bank, Airtel Payments Bank, and BillDesk are other top processors. NPCI did not reveal comparable data from previous months.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
