President Biden calls for large cash infusion into US semiconductor industry

<p>President Joe Biden has called for a large cash injection into the semiconductor industry in the US, citing an acute chip shortage. Biden urged Congress to pass a law that would provide significant federal investment in US-based semiconductor production and other manufacturing projects in his first State of the Union address.
