RBI says 1.18 Cr payment devices deployed across country till April '22

<p>RBI deployed 1,14,05,116 &nbsp;payment devices across various locations across the country under its PIDF or Payments Infrastructure development fund scheme. The scheme which kickstarted in January &#39;21 primarily focused on installing such infra across various tier-3 and tier-6 cities and tier-1 and tier-2 cities were included later. RBI plans to include special schemes to deploy such infra across rural regions.</p>
