Report for June quarter reveals ongoing PC boom approaching stagnation
<p>Despite the growth of 12% in total shipment, PC units have sold less than 5 million units for the first time in four quarters, according to a report by Canalys. With the post-COVID reopening of schools and offices across the nation, laptops and tablets have suffered a drop in sales to a total of 48% of the total PC market with the rise of desktop computer sales in the consumer segment. This was accompanied by a 50% year-on-year growth in the commercial segment.</p>
