Salesforce's Bret Taylor Exits As Co-CEO, Leaves Marc Benioff At Helm
<p>Bret Taylor, a co-founder of Salesforce, said on Wednesday that he will stand down from his position as co-CEO on January 31, leaving Marc Benioff once more in charge of the cloud software giant. Taylor, who joined the firm as a result of the 2016 sale of his productivity software startup Quip, was warmly greeted by Benioff. Taylor was crucial to Salesforce's acquisition of Slack for $27.1 billion, the biggest deal in the history of the business.</p>
