Samsung launches Exynos 1080 5nm mobile processor with 5G support

<p>Samsung announced its first 5nm chipset, the Exynos 1080 to be debuted with an unnamed Vivo device.&nbsp; The processor is compatible with both types of 5G networks, mmWave and sub-6GHz, enabling downlink speeds of up to 5.1Gbps on the latter.1 Plus, with support for both Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6. Samsung went with an octa-core CPU with triple cluster design with four Cortex-A78 core runs at 2.8 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 unit runs at 2.6GHz. The A55 quartet is clocked at 2.0GHz.</p>
