Samsung To Invest Rs 400 Cr In Tamil Nadu Plant To Manufacture 5G, 4G Equipment

<p>Samsung intends to invest Rs 400 crore to begin producing 5G and 4G radio equipment at its site in Tamil Nadu, as&nbsp;an official said. Samsung is the newest international gear manufacturer to join the government&#39;s telecom equipment production-linked incentive (PLI) program. This will be its first investment in the country&#39;s telecom gear industry, where it will join Nokia and Jabil (Ericsson) in producing 5G equipment.</p>
