SEBI requests 6-month extension for Adani probe

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has requested a 6-month extension from the Supreme Court to complete its investigation into allegations of insider trading against Adani Group companies. SEBI has been investigating Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) and other Adani Group companies since 2019 following allegations of violations of securities laws. The regulator has requested additional time to complete its investigation.
