Several Social Apps Benefit From The Twitter Debacle, New Data Shows

<p>Following Elon Musk&#39;s takeover of Twitter, several users have sought an escape. Competitor social applications have witnessed significant advances in recent days, most notably the open-source Twitter alternative Mastodon. Mastodon&#39;s CEO recently revealed that the service has surpassed 1M monthly active users. Other social media apps which saw significant growth in users include the US app Tumblr and CounterSocial which grew from 2,300% to 24,000 installs.</p>
