S.Korea to install AI-powered CCTVs to check COVID infection

<p>S.Korea will soon launch a pilot project to track the movements of COVID-19 infected people. The project will go live in Bucheon, one of Korea&#39;s most densely populated cities on the outskirts of Seoul, in Jan. Using AI algorithms and FRT, the system analyses footage from over 10.8K CCTV cameras. Bucheon received $1.36 M from the Ministry of Science and ICT and invested 500 M won from the city budget in the system&#39;s construction, according to a Bucheon official.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
