Smartwatch shipment sees over 400% growth in India says IDC

<p>Market research firm IDC said that 14.4M wearable devices were shipped in India in the year 2021. Out of these shipments, the majority were smartwatches with 12.2M shipments. This represents 4.6 times YoY increase. Analysts suggest that the main contributing factor is that the prices of smartwatches are on the decline. This has caused many users to select a smartwatch instead of a fitness band.&nbsp;</p>
