Snapchat's public 'heatmap' for Ukraine disabled

<p>Snapchat has announced that the &quot;heatmap&quot; function of Snap would be temporarily disabled in Ukraine. As a result, the app no longer displays the number of snaps taken in specific places. The firm claims that the move is merely a &quot;safety measure,&quot; and that a selected public feed of snaps provided by Ukrainians will remain. Snap has also taken a few additional steps, including refusing to show ads in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, and halting to sell ad space to Russian entities.</p>
