Spending on cloud computing hits $42 bn worldwide: Canalys

<p>In the quarter ending March 31, a record $41.8 bn was spent on cloud computing services, said market tracker Canalys. Global spending on &quot;cloud infrastructure services&quot; was pegged around $11 bn. Amazon Web Services or AWS lead the market in the period with 32 % of the overall market share. It was followed by Microsoft&#39;s Azure platform with 19 % of the market. Google Cloud had a 7 % market share.
