Streaming platform Peacock registers 40% growth in Q1 2022

<p>Peacock&rsquo;s parent company Comcast announced that the platform grew from 24.5M to 28M monthly active users in Q1 2022. Out of those, 13M of them is paid users which is also up from 9M paid users in the prior quarter. CEO and Chairman Brian Roberts said that they also saw an increase of 25% YoY in engagement hours. Roberts added that they predict sub-par growth throughout the year and in Q4 they will see a sharp growth because of the Premier League and the World Cup.&nbsp;</p>
