Taiwan Investing Alleged Criminal Activity on TikTok

<p>TikTok is under investigation by Taiwan&#39;s government on the grounds that it may be running an unlicensed subsidiary there. They warned that Beijing was spouting false information on the social networking platform. Suspecting that China could obtain user personal data, Tik Tok has faced scrutiny mostly in the US. Tiktok&#39;s owner, Byte Dance, has violated Taiwanese Law, which forbids Chinese social media platforms from conducting business there.</p>
