A telecom company is facing lawsuits from almost every state in the US over allegations of facilitating 7.5 billion robocalls. According to a CBS News report, attorneys general from various states are taking legal action against Arizona-based Avid Telecom, claiming that it engaged in illegal robocalling practices. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes issued a press release stating that Avid Telecom was responsible for generating 7.5 billion robocalls.
