Tesla vehicle deliveries surpass analyst expectations to hit new record

<p>Weathering the chip shortage better than most rivals, Tesla has announced that it has delivered a record number of electric cars in Q3, beating Wall Street estimates. In the sixth consecutive QoQ gains, overall deliveries have surged 20% between July to September, from the previous quarter. Tesla delivered 241,300 vehicles globally in Q3, up by 73% compared to last year. Hit by the chip shortage, most of Tesla&#39;s rivals reported declines in US Sales.</p>
