Tesla's Stock Now Competes with Apple

<p>Tesla&#39;s stock is by far the most expensive of the five largest U.S. firms by market value.&nbsp;But it&#39;s the only one whose performance this year has been close to Apple&#39;s, providing investors with a rare glimmer of hope. While Apple is down 15% this year, Tesla is down 22%. In contrast, the Nasdaq 100 index lost around the same amount as Microsoft Corp., Alphabet Inc., and Amazon.com Inc.</p>
