The Chinese telecom market grows to $232.4B on cloud push

<p>China&#39;s telecom sector climbed 8% last year to hit 1.47 trillion yuan ($232.41B) in revenue. &nbsp;Enterprise demand for digital services such as cloud computing and data centers fuelled China&#39;s telecommunications sector, which grew 8% to 1.47 trillion yuan ($232.41B) in 2021. China&#39;s push for new infrastructures has rolled out 1.43M 5G base stations. Its internet services industry also saw growth, expanding 21.2% to reach 1.55 trillion yuan ($245.06B) in revenue.</p>
