There have been over 46000 bans on Indian Twitter accounts

<p>Thousands of accounts in India have been blocked by Twitter. This was disclosed by Twitter itself in its monthly compliance report. As per the report, in the month of May 2022, more than 46,000 Indian Twitter accounts were blocked. The report claims that Twitter deleted these accounts because they violated its policies. As per the data, Twitter has banned about 43,656 accounts for spreading content that promotes non-consensual nudity, child sexual exploitation, etc.</p>
