This state tops in digital payments in-country

<p>Uttar Pradesh has set a record in terms of digital transactions in the country. &nbsp;The state recorded digital transactions to the tune of Rs 122.84 cr in the year 2017-18, Rs 161.69 cr in 2018-19, which rose to Rs 189.07 cr in 2019-20. RBI has recognised Siddhartha Nagar and Firozabad districts of the state as &#39;digital districts&#39; where online transactions are being encouraged. According to a govt spokesman, banks are playing a key role in encouraging digital transactions.</p>
