Tiger Global Facilitated $23 M Fundraising for WATI, CRM Application Designed for WhatsApp

<p>WATI has developed client sales and engagement capabilities for the messaging app based on the API of WhatsApp for Business. A firm with offices in Hong Kong and Malaysia has revealed that it has acquired $23 million in Series B funding to expand its staff and product. Sequoia Capital India &amp; Southeast Asia, a returning investor, and new investors DST Global Partners and Shopify joined Tiger Global in the round, which was led by Tiger Global.</p>
