Twitter Confirms "Circle" Tweets Temporarily were not Private

Twitter recently launched "Circles," a feature similar to Facebook's Groups, which allows users to share tweets with a select group of people. However, the company has confirmed that tweets shared within these Circles were temporarily not private, and could be seen by people outside the group. Twitter has stated that the issue has been fixed and that they have no reason to believe that any unauthorized individuals viewed these tweets when they were not private.
