Twitter Is No Longer Enforcing Its COVID Misinformation Policy

<p>Twitter will no longer take action against tweets or accounts that contain false COVID information. Instead of publicizing the move, Twitter placed a notice on the pages outlining its COVID misinformation policies, writing, &quot;Effective November 23, 2022, Twitter is no longer implementing the COVID-19 false information policy.&quot; Twitter first introduced these policies in 2020 and began applying labels to tweets that contained disputed information about COVID.</p>
