Twitter suspends mistakenly verified fake accounts

<p>Twitter, after relaunching its verified accounts process, &nbsp;said it had given the verified badge to some fake accounts. Under the platform&rsquo;s manipulation and spam policy, those accounts have been unverified and removed. Twitter reinstated its verification process in May 2021, with the badge being given to notable users.
