Unacademy acquires Gate Academy, launches 50 YouTube channels for education

<p>Edtech unicorn Unacademy has purchased Gate Academy in a bid to enhance its footprint in the graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) test preparation market. The Gate Academy staff will join Unacademy as part of the deal. GATE Academy&#39;s founder and director, Umesh Dhande, will join Unacademy as its vice president of academics for GATE and ESE, the firm announced.</p>
