upGrad to add 3,000 people in 3 months amidst layoff trend

<p>UpGrad announced plans to hire 3,000 people over the next three months, breaking the industry&#39;s layoff tendency. UpGrad currently employs 4,000 employees. By August of this year, the company expects to have increased its staff to roughly 6,500-7,000 people. upGrad aims to generate $500 million in revenue in fiscal year FY23, compared to $250-280 million in fiscal year FY22.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
