US bans Russian cyber security company Kaspersky, firm calls move political
<p>The US has added Kaspersky Labs, a Russian cyber-security firm, to its list of entities posing a "unacceptable risk to US national security." This is the first time a Russian firm has been added to the list, which already includes Chinese tech giant Huawei and ZTE. Kaspersky has been included to the US Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Covered List, which identifies firms that pose an unacceptable risk to the country's national security.<br /> </p>
