U.S. Finalizes $6.35 Billion in Chip Funding for Samsung and Texas Instruments
The U.S. Commerce Department has finalized substantial funding to bolster domestic semiconductor production, allocating up to $4.745 billion to Samsung Electronics and $1.61 billion to Texas Instruments. Samsung plans to invest $37 billion in Texas facilities by decade's end, while Texas Instruments commits over $18 billion to new factories in Texas and Utah, collectively creating thousands of jobs.
