US government only has 1% of electric vehicle chargers it requires
<p>About 1,100 charging stations are owned by the US government. As per the testimony given by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), more than 100,000 charging stations may be required to sustain widespread EV adoption in the next decade. The testimony focused on the USPS's efforts to convert its fleet to EVs and federal fleet transition issues. GAO has identified charging infrastructure costs and installation as a main barrier to acquiring EVs for federal fleets.</p>
