U.S. To Disrupt China's Chip Industry With New Export Rules

<p>The Biden government recently published a new set of export rules, one of them being a method to cut China off from some semiconductor chips made elsewhere on Earth with U.S. tools, in order to slow down Beijing&#39;s technological and scientific advances. If this works, it would set China&#39;s chipmaking industry back years by forcefully making the American and foreign companies that use U.S. tech break support for some of China&#39;s leading chip designers.</p>
