Verizon declares to sell Tumblr to WordPress owner

<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="background-color:white">American telecom giant Verizon Communications that owns more than 50 brands, including HuffPost and TechCrunch, has decided to sell its blogging platform Tumblr to Wordpress.com owner Automattic. The terms of the deal are yet to be known. As per the reports, Verizon acquired Tumblr in 2017 as a part of the deal with Yahoo for $4.5 billion.</span></span></span></span></p>
