VMWare to target India, step up focus on SaaS model

<p>US-based Virtualization tech company VMWare will increase focus on the SaaS Model, with India as a talent hub, Chief executive Raghu Raghuraman told ET. Having a fifth of its workforce, 6000 employees in India, the company in 2018 committed to invest $2B to expand its India operations for the next 5 years. Dell, which has an 80% stake, said VMWare would function as an independent entity from Nov, allowing it to grow business in India and globally.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
