Women-led Businesses Continue to Face Underfunding, Study Finds

<p>A new study has found that businesses led by women are still underfunded compared to those led by men. The study, which looked at investment trends in the UK, found that women-led businesses received just 2.7% of total venture capital funding in 2021, down from 3.1% in 2020. This is despite the fact that women are starting businesses at a faster rate than men. The study also found that businesses led by women are more likely to be bootstrapped or self-funded.</p>
