YouTube Releases iPhone Homescreen Widget that opens Subscriptions and Search Right Away
<p>The newest iPhone and iPad homescreen widget from Google for YouTube in particular offers quite handy shortcuts. The "Search YouTube" area at the top instantly opens that UI with the keyboard open, and the microphone icon opens voice lookup, making "Quick Actions" the "quickest way to search and browse YouTube." Beginning in 2022, Google released its last significant set of iOS widgets, including shortcuts for Translate, Drive's XL iPad choices, and Inbox from Gmail.</p>
