Zendesk walk-off from $4.1B SurveyMonkey acquisition after investors reject deal

<p>After stockholders rejected the proposed $4.1B deal to buy Momentive, the owners of SurveyMonkey, Zendesk stated that it was pulling away from the deal. The acquisition was to help the company by improving core customer service. CEO and Founder, Mikkel Svane wrote in a blog post saying that they planned to acquire Momentive to accelerate the delivery of the future of customer intelligence. He added that they are still committed to their existing customers.</p>
