Amazon launches palm-recognition based device for contactless payments
<p>Amazon has launched ‘Amazon One’ to simplify and secure card payments. The device is “a scanner of sorts” where users will first enter their credit cards then hover their palm over the device to associate palm signature with respective payment mechanism. This is similar to fingerprint biometrics but in a contactless manner- which is much needed now. Amazon is also maintaining security as the images will be encrypted and sent to a secure area on the cloud.</p>
