CloudExtel and RailTel launch India's first neutral shared RAN

<p>RailTel and CloudExtel have teamed up to introduce India&#39;s first Shared Radio Access Network solution for congested areas to improve the experience of telecom consumers. The project&#39;s pilot was carried out successfully by RailTel and CloudExtel. The pilot project&#39;s results were spectacular, increasing mobile data usage on average by 5 times, from 3 Mbps to 15 Mbps for phone networks of both Bharti Airtel Vodafone Idea, while the data consumption jumped&nbsp;up by 20%.</p>
