Digital record system will help govt monitor Delhi's roads closely

<p>The Delhi government has requested all road-owning organizations to build a database of the whole network and maintain an archive. Through this, data can be quickly accessed by a minister or senior official in order to keep close tabs on the state of the roads. The government will be able to view the actual status of a section of road with a mouse click the next time a road-owning body proposes to repair or reinforce it and requests funding.</p>
