One can now make payments up to Rs 200 without internet

<p>RBI allowed payment providers to facilitate payments up to Rs 200, digitally without internet, telecom connectivity, and additional factor authentication. Payments can be done using secure instruments like cards, wallets, or mobile phones. It will be similar to payments made for transportation like the metro through pre-paid wallets. The Banks will benefit from this system as it lessens the pressure on core-banking systems and other infrastructure.</p>
