Telegram founder explores web3-based auctions for custom usernames

<p>Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, declared that he intends to incorporate web3 into the messaging service. Durov expressed his admiration for the TON project, a separate initiative that is not connected to Telegram, and the way it is used to domain name and wallet auctions. He said that by including unique identities, group, and channel links on the auction on the blockchain, just as NFTs, Telegram could mimic TON&#39;s auction on the app.</p>
