Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt Takes Helm at Relativity Space

Eric Schmidt, Google's CEO from 2001 to 2011, has been appointed CEO of Relativity Space, a company specializing in 3D-printed rocket technology. Schmidt succeeds co-founder Tim Ellis, who will continue as a board member. Schmidt has also made a substantial investment in the company, taking a controlling stake. Relativity Space is developing the Terran R, a reusable medium-to-heavy-lift launch vehicle, with a planned debut in late 2026.
