MeitY Receives 52% Budget Increase to Boost Chip Manufacturing, AI, and PLI Scheme

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has received a 52% increase in its budget allocation, totaling ₹21,936 crore. The additional funds will be directed towards promoting semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence initiatives, and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
