Google parent Alphabet launches new drug discovery startup

<p>Google&#39;s parent Alphabet has launched a new drug discovery company called Isomorphic Laboratories. The startup will use AI, leveraging the success of DeepMind, another Alphabet subsidiary, to predict the 3D structure of a protein from its amino acid sequence. The company is a commercial venture to reimagine the drug discovery process from the ground up using AI, said DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, who will also serve as Isomorphic Laboratories CEO in the initial phase.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
