MEA sets up emerging technologies division

<p>The Ministry of External Affairs announced the setting up of New, Emerging and Strategic Technologies division. This will look into the issues pertaining to new and emerging technologies and will help in collaboration with foreign partners in the field of 5G and AI which are in line with India&rsquo;s security goals.&nbsp;Its mandate includes evolving India&rsquo;s external tech policy in coordination with domestic stakeholders and in line with developmental priorities.</p>
