MeitY to setup centers for AI development

<p>MeitY has announced plans to set up centers for transformational AI whose main focus will be development of AI-based solutions. Along with this a fund is also being created to help startups with their developments according to Abhishek Singh, Head Digital India Corporation. Singh said that even with enormous amounts of research in AI done in academic institutions, India is still behind China and the US. He added that these initiatives will help us go further in AI research.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
