Meta Advertises  AI That Translates Spoken-Only Languages

<p>Meta recently revealed that it has developed an artificial intelligence programme that can translate the Taiwanese language into English, despite Hokkien&#39;s absence of an uniform written form. The Universal Speech Translator project was promoted by the Silicon Valley tech giant that owns Facebook and Instagram as an effort to allow users from all over the world to socialise regardless of the languages they speak.</p>
