Microsoft’s latest acquisition Nuance has 10% of employees in India

<p>US-based AI firm Nuance Communications, which was acquired by Microsoft for $19.7 bn on Monday, has over 10% of its 7,100 employees in India. Its offices in Pune and Bengaluru provide transcription, editing services and does R&D work. Nuance has 1,600 employees across the globe in transcription and editing services. The Massachusetts-based tech firm, recently, has launched a transcription engine in Hindi and Indian English.</p>
